    Note From Apostle John

By Jamal Maxsam | Notes from Apostle John | Comments are Closed | 18 November, 2017 | 0

    Dear Heirs Family,

I pray you are doing well and walking in the grace, peace and favor of our Lord and Savior Jesus!

I encourage you to remain resolute and steadfast in the things you have heard from the Lord and the things you have seen that He wants to accomplish in your life!

Recently in the “Word For The Week” I shared from Isaiah 40. Isaiah was addressing a concern of the people as they were still in captivity that they had been forgotten and that God was no longer concerned about them.

He poses a question to them… Have you not known… Have you not heard? Then he goes on to speak of the greatness of God, Who sees all, knows all and is in charge of everything!

It’s easy for any one of us to become disappointed, to become disillusioned, to doubt and even stop believing when things are not going as we thought they would. This is what the prophet was addressing when he said…

“Why do you say, O Jacob, and assert, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the Lord, And the justice due me escapes the notice of my God”? Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary” (Isaiah 40:27-31).

Whatever you are believing for, keep believing! Just because you can’t see it, or haven’t seen it yet doesn’t mean He’s not doing it! You may be in the middle of some good things, but feeling overwhelmed. Every now and then you need to have a worship moment! A praise break!

Take a moment right now and worship Him for Who He is! Remind yourself how great He is! Thank Him for what He has done and what He is doing! Thank Him for renewed strength and renewed vision coming to you this very moment. Release to Him any care and concern you may have, any weight or pressure you my feel and receive from Him His peace that surpasses all understanding, His grace that is more than enough!

If for any reason you’ve stopped, it’s ok. Catch your breath, regain your focus, reignite your passion for Him and the purpose and destiny for which you were born! Get back up and get going! As I sit writing this, the words to this song come to mind….

    TRAINING FOR REIGNING
God is preparing His people, For their greatest hour
We will arise in His Glory and the greatness of His Power
Know the test that you face and the storms that you’re in
Are only to make you strong,
WE ARE IN TRAINING FOR REIGNING WITH CHRIST!

We are the HEIRS of salvation and joint heirs with God’s only Son!
Lifting the sword of the Spirit, the enemies now on the run
So we must not give up and we sure won’t give in
We know that we’ve already won,
WE ARE IN TRAINING FOR REIGNING WITH CHRIST!

I want to close by saying we are in that hour right now! This is the hour for the church, for you and me to arise! SHINE! We are called to reign right now! Everything you have experienced and endured has prepared you for such a time as this!

Let’s step into this moment together!

You remain in my heart and prayers! I love you!
